Listening Skills
We were given two ears but only one mouth - listening is twice as important as talking.
Look at the person talking.
Make face and eye contact.
Listen with your eyes as well as your ears.
Be interested and attentive
Do not talk while the teacher or another student is talking.
Concentrate on what the speaker is saying.
Sit up - good posture helps you pay attention.
If you find yourself daydreaming - change your body position and concentrate on being a good listener, it takes work!
